Cassie Madden has a passion for world history and archaeology. She has a specialist interest in maritime history and the history of Europe between 800 to 1200AD. Cassie is a passionate researcher, innovator, history enthusiast, information professional, writer, and maritime and port consultant. She has her own maritime consulting website where she provides consulting services and innovative ideas to businesses and individuals about all things maritime, international trade and port related. In terms of her work history, Cassie has worked in records and information management for over 10 years where she worked at a port authority for 6 years and advised on a number of things. She volunteered at a Maritime Museum for 12 years. She has spent many years researching history, international trade, maritime and port ideas. She is an avid reader and writer. Cassie spends her free time writing stories and conducting research about history and maritime innovations. Cassie has a arts undergrad degree in Archaeology, is a qualified librarian and information professional, studied IT, completed an research degree on users experience of record keeping systems and has a MBA in Maritime and logistics. She is putting all her passions together across multiple fields! In her spare time she is writing fiction stories and is uploading some of her works on this page one chapter at a time.
